Percy Jackson and the Olympians!!!

Yaayyy!! Finally i am reviewing a book i am totally crazy about.
This series probably needs a whole series of written text to be dedicated to it!
But here is a short post on my ideas of the plot, charcters.

Probably the most amazing feature of this book is how off  the mainstream it is. It is completely unique in my analysis. It doesn't have that typical romance setting nor does it portray specific characters as being better than others. It's plot of greek mythology is totally awesome yet expected by the fans. I love the modernisation of greek mythology being made in this series. It actually results in several enthusiastic readers being interested in greek mythology.

I love the main hero, Percy's character and naiveness. His emotions for his mother and his friends is so adorable and lovely. His loyalty sets a record for several readers. Rick Riordan sort of is communicating and radiating good and moral characteristics to others.

Another character i adore is Annabeth. Her dedication, relentless striving to achieve perfection and strength surprise me!

Grover is probably the best satyr ever :P. He and Percy couldn't get better at being buddies.

Chiron can mange to be just a very inspiring person, and deadly the next moment. Given Kronos is his father, and how he regards him, just elevates Chiron in my eyes.

Mr.D definitely adds a hint of comedy (and stupid fun which i know we all unintentionally love) to this whole series.
